Never Alone Update Patch v1.4 -- January 7, 2015

We're happy to report that we've fixed the toughest issue with Never Alone since our launch in November!

Some Intel HD integrated graphics chipsets were causing a crash when players tried to play the game on PC. Thanks to users who have helpfully sent in their crash reports and DirectX diagnostic files — and the diligence of our Engineering and QA teams — the latest version of Never Alone on PC should no longer cause that crash.

Thanks again to everyone who helped us fix this issue, and enjoy playing the game! And remember, if you encounter any issues with Never Alone, please contact us at support@neveralonegame.com.

I have never been able to get this game to launch. My settings for Steam say to keep the game up-to-date, so I assume that would include this patch from more than 4 months ago.

I'm beyond frustrated. I've read and followed the FAQ, which was not at all helpful. Then when I want to open a case so I can submit far more information about my computer than I would care to, I get this page. These non-helpful links only increase my frustration.

I will be more careful before paying for early access in the future.

I wish you well and I like the idea of the game, but I'm no longer interested in playing it. Enough.

Sorry you seem to be having trouble launching the game. Sending a DirectX Diagnostic only shares hardware and driver specifications. The game not launching is due to incompatible or outdated GPU drivers. The DirectX Diagnostic helps us determine what the root of the cause is. If you send us a copy, we review it and can help you one on one to try and get your game up and running. Please email us at support@neveralonegame.com
